There were days when we wondered that is it possible that some day we humans will turn into “X-men mutants” and the thought gave us chills. Of course, we haven’t heard of such humans who possess such death-defying powers but this recent case of Karnataka got all our ears.
On Saturday, at the Dhadeasugure Primary Health Centre (PHC) in Raichur, a woman delivered a baby that fits perfectly under the fictional mutants character as he has four legs and two male sex organs.
The infant’s mother Lalitamma and father Chennabasava are residents of Puladinni village in Dadeasugure Hobali of Sindhanoore taluk in Raichur. As soon as the baby was born, he was taken to VIMS (Vijayanagara Institute of Medical Sciences), Ballari and was placed in neonatal care.
The doctors said that it was a normal delivery and soon after they advised Lalitamma to go for higher treatment to VIMS. Dr. Divakar Gaddi is handling the infant’s case in VIMS and stated that this case is very challenging for the doctors at VIMS.
Though Lalitamma states that the child is a gift to her and she is willing to raise him just the way he is.
The doctors at VIMS are trying their best to make Lalitamma’s son normal.
