‘Rock On 2‘ has really got us curious about its story as this trailer seems entirely different from the prequel. ‘Rock On‘ was a pure musical and buddy flick, where this one seems darker in terms of music even and to our surprise, it is definitely not a buddy flick. Where ‘Rock On’ brought smile on our faces, ‘Rock On 2‘ is surely gonna put tears in our eyes and wrinkles between the eyebrows. The music of the movie has become denser, the conflicts are grown darker and our old ‘Talented Magicians‘ have become older.(Though all of them look super hot)
Farhan Akhtar is trying to reunite the ‘Magik‘ again and in the process he does not only joined by old team of Arjun Rampal and Purab Kohli but also gets exposed to a north east girl Shraddha Kapoor. Now this girl has everything they need as a band member, she composes and she sings too but she is frightened to perform on stage. In between the shots we understood that she has been hiding her talent because of her family but our rescuer musicians have decided to find her courage and expose this young talent to the world. Phew! There are some shots where Farhan goes AWOL and his wife asks him to come home, there is fire (Like literally), regrets, fights and what not. (Not to forget it has songs too)

The new ‘Magik’ is also joined by another member, Shashank Dutta, who plays a guitarist. You will see Prachi Desai and Shahana Goswami as well donning their previous characters. The story of the movie seems to move in unexpected and unexplored dimensions of the life and we are just too curious to watch what will be those dimensions. ‘Rock On 2’ is directed by Shujaat Saudagar and is coming in theatres on 11 November 2016.
