It seems like Priyanka Chopra aka Piggy Chops has decided to shed the old image of “Routine dancing around trees” role of heroine. She has emerged as a versatile actor, be it the tough role of “Mary Kom” or Classic role of “Kashibai”. Priyanka Chopra virtuoso acting and singing has even marked international arena. After “Bajirao Mastani”, Priyanka Chopra is set to prove her bravura as a badass cop in Prakash Jha’s Jai Gangajal. The first movie of the series Gangajal had Ajay Devgan in the fierce role of an officer, this time, it is “NO MAN” movie. However in the dialogue, it seems that Priyanka is delivering the thoughts of her mind.
Priyanka Chopra tweeted “The quickest film I’ve ever shot! Introducing #AbhaMathur in a role & film I am so very proud of”.
In the opening lines, she tells “Mein yahan table-kursi par baithar salami thukwane nahi aayi hun” (I am not here to sit on table and chair to get salute), Indeed Priyanka Chopra has entered into Bollywood industry with some motives, to prove herself as an actress and a singer, and she carved out her plan of success in the industry on her own terms. By sheer hard work, she has balanced it all.
Even Prakash Jha the director of the movie has satisfied the “keeda” of acting and after watching the trailer, undoubtedly he did it an ecstatic manner. The producer in Rakesh Jha also did the “paisa wasool” performance as B.N Singh (Bhola Nath Singh).
Co-Producer By Milind Dabke, the movie will take you to “Baakeinpur” the dusty heartland of Central India. Movie trailer shows same issues- politics and goon politicians doing crime and manhandled by an honest cop. However, the realistic and balanced manner will surely win the heart of the audience.
Hope we get these Rowdy and Gutsy officer in India at each and every cop station. Like Gangajal, let the purity and piousness flow.
