“Begum Jaan” trailer is here and Vidya Balan’s ‘devil may care’ attitude game is on again.The Hindi adaptation of the Bengali movie, Rajkahini, features Vidya as the owner of a brothel during the partition of India and My God! She has acted fiercely than ever, “Begum Jaan” introduces her just like a lioness.
The story of “Begum Jaan” is set during the times of Indo-Pak partition. The brothel of Begum stands on the Indo-Pak border and officials told her to evacuate it but Begum who is the sole emperor of that brothel and considers it as her nation, refuses to do so and bash them mercilessly with cunning words. Officials try to evaluate Begum by other unofficial and illegal means by such as sending goons and hiring a shooter but even the life-threatening acts fail to dwell the courage of Begum and her apostles. Vidya’s kohl-rimmed eyes, let loose hairs and vicious dialogues make her character intense than ever.

Although Vidya Balan completely stole the show but Chunky Pandey’s character was no less surprising. He perfectly projected the presence of a ruthless killer and we look forward to seeing his performance in the movie. “Begum Jaan” also features Naseeruddin Shah, Ila Arun, Gauahar Khan, Pallavi Sharda, Rajit Kapoor and several other actors as supporting cast.
