“Ya Ali Murtaza” is not only qawwali but also a bhajan. As interesting as it sounds the latest release track from Freaky Ali is equally nerve cracking. It got beats that will thump in your heart and make you feel connected to humanity as well the divine power. “Ya Ali Murtaza” holds a special place as it focuses on bringing together the two major religions of India.
Apparently, the underdog Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who challenged the cream class people that he can win the Golf match with his talent, got his left arm broken and can not play. Now, the final match is just a day ahead and his family friends and Amy Jackson, who is playing the love interest of Nawaz in the movie, are praying for him. His parents are praying in Mandir while his friends are praying in Masjid. IN between the sequence you can catch the glimpse that at Nawaz’s home ‘Quran’ is placed beside the statue of Ganesha. “Ya Ali Murtaza” sends out a loud message that all the prayers ultimately reach to the Almighty.
