Rock On 2’s “Jaago” Is Here And It Is Going To Be This Year’s Youth Anthem

Rock On 2’s first single “Jaago” is out and it has all the good vibes in both, the song and the music video. The band Magik performs the song for the first time post the demise of their keyboard pro, Rob. The song talks about standing up for your rights and how change can come if you want it and with the support of others. It also talks about women empowerment, now who doesn’t like some good message clubbed with awesome music.

Jaago’s music video starts with the band member walking towards the stage (same old start), but then things change. You can soon see Farhan Akhtar crowd surfing on a boat and then zip lining back to the stage (now that’s a concert we would like to attend). Arjun Rampal looks good with his guitar and long hair, Purab Kohli comes out as energetic as always on his drums. Shraddha Kapoor and Shashank Arora are missing from this video, however, we would love to see them in the next song that Magik comes out with.

“Jaago” from ‘Rock On 2’ has a very grunge feel to it and hits you hard with every chorus. Farhan Akhtar and Siddharth Mahadevan have lent their raspy and energetic voice to the song, which is soon going to be this year’s youth anthem (at least we wish so). The lyrics of the song are written by Javed Akhtar that goes in sync with the dynamic music by Shankar Ehsaan Loy.

‘Rock On 2’ is directed by Shujaat Saudagar and all set to release on 11th November 2016.
