‘Gilehriyaan’ is the sweetest song from ‘Dangal’ as it allows us to meet the feminine side of Aamir Khan‘s daughters. The song is utterly melodious just like one of those sweet lullabies your mom sings to you in babyhood. ‘Gilehriyaan’ focuses mainly on Geeta Phogat, who has been enrolled at a professional wrestling training center to become world class wrestler but there she exposes herself to a whole new world. Geeta makes new friends and starts enjoying her youth as a girl but in order to do so, she fails to maintain the communication and connection with her ‘Haanikaarak Bapu‘ Mahavir.
Where ‘Gilehriyaan’ showcases the twisted emotions of a teenage girl, it also introduces Aamir Khan as a worried father who wants her daughters to be the best. At the same time, he is coaching his younger one Babita, who just can’t wait to live life as her elder sister.

The worries of a father and liberating feelings of a teenager have been blended perfectly in the song. The song is beautifully sung by Jonita Gandhi and the soulful music of Pritam is ideally complementing the lyrics penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya.
‘Dangal’ is the second film in this year that focuses on the pro-wrestling sport after Salman Khan’s Sultan. The movie is directed by Nitesh Tiwari and is opening on 23 December 2016.
