The movie is an adaptation of the incredible journey of Mahavir Singh Phogat, who taught wrestling to his daughters Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari, and the title track exhibits how Mahavir spared no effort to make his daughters the BEST.

‘Dangal’ is all about the hardwork, exertion and strain behind the success of Geeta and Babita. Aamir Khan who is playing the character of Mahavir trains both of them to become the optimum wrestlers as if from the mother’s womb to the cemetery, their life is a wrestling bout. From the ‘Desi Akhada‘ to international matches, his daughters defeat all their opponents and when he watches his long life dream of getting a gold medal for India is going to be true, he rejoices the feeling as both, a mentor as well as a father.

The song is carved by Amitabh Bhattacharya. ‘Dangal’ is directed by Nitesh Tiwari and stars Aamir Khan, Sakshi Tanwar, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra, Zaira Wasim and Suhani Bhatnagar. The much-anticipated biopic is releasing on 23 December 2016.
