“Baadal” is the new track released from the upcoming thriller of Sonakshi Sinha, “Akira”. Till now the trailer and previous songs revealed the character of Sonakshi as a powerful and fierce girl but this song discloses a completely different insight of her character. “Baadal” is all about the other side of the coin where Sonakshi always finds it difficult to adjust with the society and is unable to control her emotions.
Despite of her horrific past, she decides to go to college and lives in a hostel, where she gets bullied and feels alone. The song is a heartbreaking track and if you have ever felt lonely in this world which is full of people then your heart will feel more close to “Baadal”. Watching her roam around alone will surely remind you of your sad times but all that matters, is how well you keep up through these tough parts of life.

The glimpse of Sonakshi fighting with cops in the jail is chilling and it makes us wonder how did she land up there? We guess, we just have to wait for the movie to know that.
The song is rendered in the powerful voice of Sunidhi Chauhan. The heartwarming music of the song is composed by dynamic duo – Vishal and Shekhar. The lyrics of “Baadal” are penned by Manoj Muntashir. The movie is directed by A.R. Murugadoss and is slated to release on 2nd September 2016.
