People Are Not Happy With Priyanka Chopra’s Quantico And The Anti-India Stance It Took

Priyanka Chopra banged on the gates of Hollywood with her TV series Quantico which was a massive success in the first season, but soon the charm of Quantico fizzled out. Luckily the makers were given one last chance with season 3 of the show where the entire premise of the show was said to be changed, all in order to become exciting again. But by 2-3 episodes, the network decided to say its final bye to the show and cancelled it for following seasons. As for the current season 3, the show is still playing on the network. And, one of its most recent episodes strung the wrong chord with their audience.

The episode, aired on June 1, shows an MIT professor, who is in possession of uranium, planning to attack an India-Pakistan summit in New York. They are doing this entirely to blame the whole thing on Pakistan and bring them down internationally.

As eventful and highly imaginative the entire premise seems to be, it has not gone down well with the audience who are calling out the makers for even thinking about making something on such a nonsensical plot like this one.

Not just the makers, people are also questioning and criticising Priyanka Chopra for letting the makers go ahead with a storyline like this one and participating in it. Some have event went ahead with the decision to boycott all things Priyanka related in the market which is questionable, but then nothing is questionable on the Internet.

The episode is also littered with references to and jokes about India-Pakistan rivalry. Before the Hindu terror plot is unveiled, an Indian FBI agent named Deep is more than happy at the chance to “take down the Pakistanis”, for some of his relatives had been killed by residents of that country. All of this has gone too far out with the viewers and none of them are happy about it. Here are some of the reactions to the entire thing.

So, what about you? Have you watched the episode, if yes then what do you think about the entire plot of the episode? And, if you’ve not watched the episode, do you think that outrage is justified or not?
