Netflix’s Sacred Games Teaser Is Here And You Need To See It, Now!!

The much-anticipated Sacred Games teaser is here and you need to see it now because it’s just amazing. Coming on Netflix this has to be one of the biggest projects from India to come out for the global audience. There’s Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane direction, and a story from Vikram Chandra’s bestselling novel of the same name. Need more reasons to believe the eminence of this series?

Sacred Games has actors like Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Radhika Apte and Rajshri Deshpande, in pivotal roles and they seem impeccable at their job from the look of the teaser.

As for the story of the series, it is a crime saga that explores the dark underbelly of Bombay and lingers around the connections between the crime, cops, and politicians. The teaserlooks very Anurag Kashyap-esque with its grittiness and subdued reformation of an otherwise hyper storyline.

The series focuses on Sartaj Singh, a seasoned and cynical Bombay police officer, summoned by an anonymous tip one morning, a voice which promises him an opportunity to capture the powerful Ganesh Gaitonde, criminal overlord of the G-Company. As the stakes mount and Sartaj seeks knowledge of his prey, it becomes clear that the game the two players thought they were engaged in is, in fact, part of a much larger scenario, one that expands beyond their city.

Helmed by Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane the series has already created a lot of buzz due to the talent associated with it. The official premiere of the series is scheduled for July 6th, 2018 and we are too excited about it.

Sacred Games is not the only project Kashyap and Motwane are working together. They have also made a movie together – Bhavesh Joshi Superhero, which would release later this month. And, it seems to be quite a gem too considering the response its teasergot.
