Here’s The List Of Most Talked About Bollywood Movies On Twitter In 2017

As we bid adieu to 2017 which has been a good mix of something good and something really bad, we ought to take a look back on all that happened this year. This includes everything that people talked the most about on social media and what went viral. We already have covered a lot of topics on the same scene, however, today we are bringing the most talked about Bollywood movies on Twitter in 2017.

According to Twitter India’s annual ranking list, Raees was the most talked about Hindi film in 2017 based on the hashtag volume. This Shah Rukh Khan movie was one of the early releases of 2017, where the actor was seen playing something different and interesting, in comparison to his last movies.

Raees was set against the backdrop of alcohol probation in Gujarat and showed a Shahrukh in a much darker light, something that his audience was missing for a long time now. Directed by Rahul Dholakia, Raees was also the Bollywood debut of Pakistani-actress Mahira Khan.

Both the second and third position on the list went to Salman Khan’s movies. While Tiger Zinda Hai secured the second position on the list, Tubelight which had been a dud at the box office, secured the third position.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati, starring Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor, and Ranveer Singh, stood at the fourth position. Ever since the making of Padmavati, the movie has been surrounded by various controversies, including a halt on its release. The exact date of Padmavati release hasn’t yet been confirmed, however, as per speculations, the movie might have an early February release.

The fifth position went to Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil, whereas Jab Harry Met Sejal and Toilet Ek Prem Katha stood at the sixth and seventh position.

Along with the Bollywood movies, Shahrukh Khan topped Twitter’s most talked about celebrity list, whereas among the ladies Deepika Padukone was on the top.
