KBC 13 Meets Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah Cast For New Episode!

In what can perhaps be called the coming together of two of the finest and most popular TV shows, the entire cast of SAB TV’s epic comedy show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah appeared on the sets of KBC 13.

And that wasn’t to be an audience on the show, but as its guests. And in the wake of this mega collaboration, if only for a single episode, the thing that could be said is that the end beneficiary of this massive coming together (of two distinctly appealing shows) was the viewer in the end.

That very person, who either with his entire family or when not, then by himself, stays glued to the TV for the entirety of the duration of the show.

On its part, KBC, since the very beginning, has found a way to mingle with audiences by combining entertainment with the quotient of general knowledge. Then on top of it, the presence of the one and only Shri Amitabh Bachchan has made KBC a beating rhythm of every heart in the country. Having said that, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah on the other hand, has become a show that has made its way into various households for becoming a one of a kind example on how to uphold the values that make us Indian- unity and the love for the others, whilst conveying everyday messages with sweet humour.

With an array of unique characters, each of whom with their idiosyncrasies and distinct style of humour has etched a permanent place for themselves under the sun, it can be said that for as long as the genre of comedy will remain, so too will the name of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.

Having said that, the only thing that one can expect from a massive coming together of two appealing shows is one great episode of “MASTI” and boundless fun and entertainment.

What questions, one funnily thinks, might Amitabh Bachchan ask the cast and crew of TMKOC- “Jethalal Ji, kaun poori Gokuldham society mein sabse zyada Jalebi-Fafda khata hai?” Or let’s say things like, “Mahila Mandal ki kaunsi sadasya poori Gokuldham society mein Sabse sundar hai?”

One can only imagine the expressions that will continue to linger on Jethalal’s face if at all such questions are asked. But having said so, the following information came to light when news updates captured the discussions ensuing between Jethalal and KBC 13 host Shri Amitabh Bachchan.

Believe it nor not, the discussion, and it had to be funny, boiled down to the great Mr. Bachchan’s bewilderment at finding out that 21 members from the popular TV show had may their way into the KBC 13 sets and here’s that Jethalal happened to tell the great figure behind KBC:

Kya karenge, 2 to udhar baedh jayenge, baki neeche pangat laga denge (what we will do is, 2 will take the hot seat, rest of them will sit in a horizontal line on the floor).” Amitabh reacts, “Hey bhagwan (O god).”

The promo also shares a glimpse of another segment in which Patrakaar Popatlal (Shyam Pathak) and show creator Asit Kumar Modi take the hot seat. Popatlal asks Amitabh if he can help him find a life partner. Sharing his qualities, he says, “aata goondta hu first class, aur lockdown me jhadu poncha (I can knead dough, and did cleaning in lockdown).” An impressed Amitabh praises him, “Ai shaabash (excellent).”
