Kangana Ranaut Debuts At Cannes 2018 Film Festival With A Sultry Retro Look

Cannes is one of the biggest movie celebrations in the world where people from all around the globe come together to appreciate brilliant movies and amazing storylines. Along with movies, actors and celebrities from varied movie industries around the globe also come to walk the red carpet and swoon the fans and paparazzi with their outfits and style.

Bollywood has time and again proven itself to be one of the biggest contributors to the fashion scenes with actresses looking absolutely gorgeous and decked in beautiful clothes. Aishwarya Rai, Sonam Kapoor, Vidya Balan and many others have been coming here almost every year, but Cannes 2018 is a bit different. Kangana Ranaut, one of the most talented actresses of Bollywood, is making her debut at the Cannes this year.

She arrived looking absolutely flawless, decked in black, at the airport and it was that very second we knew this Cannes 2018 is going to have an epic dress party.

Kangana Ranaut is known for her love for vintage clothing and style, which she sports every now and then, and for her first day, she did the same. Ranaut stunned the fans with her sultry retro look and looked like an absolute dream in it. She wore Sabyasachi ‘Aakash-tara’ (i.e. starry skies) saree. According to the designer’s official page, the saree is hand-dyed and embellished with hand-cut sequins that are individually sewn using the zardosi technique, to create a metallic, yet fluid fabric.

She accessorised her look also with a Sabyasachi batua and ‘teenmaniya’ necklace, crafted out of rose-cut diamonds, Colombian emeralds, and Basra pearls. Along with her gorgeous accessories, she went with a big retro hairdo and looked stunning in it.

Kangana Ranaut is accompanying Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Smriti Irani and Chairman, Central Board of Film Certification, Prasoon Joshi at the India Pavilion at Cannes 2018. She is scheduled to walk the red carpet tomorrow and with this sneak peek, we’re super excited to know what she’ll wear on the carpet.
