In what can only be described as one of the leading headlines in the world of entertainment as on February 25, 2021, it appears that in India there’s a TikToker who resembles Shoaib Akhtar!

There you go, we said it and now you need get those curious eyeballs gazing all over the World Wide Web!

A piece of news that at first sounds even ridiculously funny but upon eventual discovery seems true and actual, it’s rather uncanny to note the TikToker who resembles Shoaib Akhtar.

Two extremly divergent worlds- both of which that have got nothing relational or to do with one another- seem to have converged and it’s this uncanny similarity that’s brought them together.

Upon first impression, the only thing that’s common between the world of TikTok videos and the cricketing world is entertainment! And now it appears that a growing TikToker from India bears a certain resemblance with the fearsome Pakistani express pace bowler Shoaib Akhtar.

Now what’s truly interesting is that while we do hear about two people resembling one another (but) belong to the same gender, this case is a slightly different one, for the lack of better expression.

It’s a female who one thinks looks like a male! How else are you going to put it.

The news surrounding noted Indian-Ameriacan TikToker Vanita Khilani is that she’s the one who bears a striking resemblance to former batsman-destroyer, opponent-wrecker, pace bowler Shoaib Akhtar.

And this piece of news has sky-rocketed to umpteenth number of hits and views in the world of social media.

And elaborating on that, popular news daily DNA, in India reported the following:

The Indian-US Tiktoker, Vanita Khilnani, who is known for posting funny videos on her social media, was bombarded with comments on her posts saying that she looks like the pacer.

Soon the comments section was filled saying that she indeed looked like the former Pakistan fast bowler. Most of them had a similar opinion while one even commented saying, ‘you look more [like] Shoaib Akhtar than he does.’ This story was further covered by Pakistan news outlet Geo TV. 

The above being told, another thing that’s interesting is that while Akhtar last featured in an international contest way back in 2011, it’s a female doppelganger, belonging to a world (TikTok) created only recently that seems to have stoked refreshing conversation about the revered Pakistani pacer.

Though, another thing that binds the world of cricket, now if you think of it is ‘Speed!’ How? While the complexion of a game of cricket changes often with great speed, so does the number of fans of a TikToker on the popular short-video app. But in Vanita’s case, the number of followers might have increased with speed, upping north!
