Based on the popular video game, Lara Croft is back in the new Tomb Raider trailer and man can she kick some ass and do impeccable stunts. While the original Lara Croft was everyone’s favourite Angelina Jolie, the new one would definitely be able to fill her shoes in carrying out a great performance on screen. This time, Lara Croft is played by Alicia Vikander who is an Academy Award winner for her supporting role in “The Danish Girl”.
However, many believe that her new venture can easily become her first major headliner performance.
Tomb Raider trailer shows a lot of snippets from the movie and as per an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Lara Croft in the new Tomb Raider trailer has been stripped away from all her experience as she hasn’t gone on an adventure, yet. She gets to find everything about his father’s secrets and the adventures that it brings in with it.

Apart from going on the adventure, by the looks of Tomb Raider trailer, it seems that we would finally be able to come across the much younger version of Lara Croft where she lives a broke life, even while having the multi-million empire of his father.
As per Polygon, everything from Alicia Vikander’s outfits to the new settings that she explores in Tomb Raider is based on the 2013 and 2015 games, Tomb Raider and Rise Of The Tomb Raider, respectively. Along with Vikander, Tomb Raider trailer also has Walton Goggins, Dominic West, Daniel Wu and Kristin Scott Thomas.
