‘The Mummy Trailer’ Is a Revamped Version Of The Classic With Tom Cruise And A Deadly Female Mummy

“The Mummy” is a rebooted, revamped and renewed version of classic The Mummy was one of the most horrifying movies for every 90’s kid out there. The classic version had everything that one expected from a movie like that, and let’s acknowledge the fact that the new version is equally horrifying. One of the biggest changes in this new flick is that we have a female antagonist this time. While the old one took place in the deserted lands of Egypt, this new venture opens the door for Mummy in the modern world.

“The Mummy” trailer opens up with the shot of Tom Cruise and his team carrying an ancient sarcophagus in a cargo plane. However, after mysterious chains of an event, the plane crashed and almost everybody died in that crash except Tom Cruise. There are bits and parts which would make you jump and at the same time, keep you on the edge of your seat.

As by the trailer, the viewers are welcomed to a new world of Gods and Monsters. The story line of the movie seems to be new yet old at the same time. However, “The Mummy” is definitely going to be the horror movie of the year, for which it has been always known. As Egyptian culture and legends have had a fascinating effect on the world, since the advent of civilisation.

“The Mummy” has an intense cast that includes Tom Cruise, Sofia Boutella, Russell Crowe, Annabelle Wallis, Jake Johnson and Courtney B. Vance. It is directed by Alex Kurtzman and produced by Chris Morgan.

Get ready to be scared by “The Mummy”, which would be releasing on 9 June 2017.
