Jennifer Lawrence Looks Drop-Dead Amazing As A Deadly Spy In The Red Sparrow Trailer

Jennifer Lawrence is one of the most versatile actresses in Hollywood who has marked her name in the industry with some of the most distinct movies ever. After taking a huge creative leap with Darren Aronofsky’s Mother!, which failed miserably, Lawrence is all set to be back at the commercial front with her new movie – Red Sparrow.

The Fox studio has released the Red Sparrow trailer and it looks absolutely stunning.

Red Sparrow, based on the novel by Jason Matthews with the same name, is about Dominika Egorova (Jennifer Lawrence) a Russian ballerina who is forced to become a student at the sparrow school. She’s doing this in return for her mother’s life-saving medical treatment.

However, the Sparrow programme is no ordinary program, under this initiative young people, are trained to seduce and betray enemy operatives. They are made to go through some really tough extremes in order to become the absolute perfect at their job. However, along the way, Egorova founds herself sucked into a world that threatens to break her spirit.

After watching the Red Sparrow trailer one can easily find the similarities between Jennifer Lawrence’s character and Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow from the Avengers franchise. Which is disheartening for various Marvel fans who have been waiting for the Black Widow’s stand-alone movie for almost 10 years now.

Some are even calling Red Sparrow trailer being the Black Widow movie Marvel fans have been waiting for. Whatever the case may be, one just can’t ignore that Red Sparrow trailer actually looks amazing. The film also stars Matthias Schoenaerts, Mary-Louise Parker, Jeremy Irons, Ciaran Hinds, and Joely Richardson.

Plus, Jennifer Lawrence is reuniting with Francis Lawrence, who directed the final three installments of her hugely successful “Hunger Games” franchise.

Red Sparrow will be releasing on March 2, 2018.
