New Mutants Trailer: X-Men Universe Goes Dark With These New Mutants

Twentieth Century Fox just dropped the first-ever New Mutants trailer and they just have chosen the perfect date, Friday the 13th, to turn your day a little spookier. New Mutants trailer was one of the most-awaited trailers to drop this year, and now that it’s here, we would like to congratulate our fellow X-Men fans. New Mutants seems to be a great spin-off of our beloved X-Men which already has some 11 movies to its name.

New Mutants is a story about five young mutants and how they discover their extraordinary powers while being held captive in a secret facility. Now, they need to tackle their demons aptly in order to protect themselves.

By the looks of New Mutants trailer, it’s far darker and creepier than any other X-Men movie till now, and we for one are loving it. The New Mutants trailer shows that the film is ready to go deep into the psychological and physiological terrors that haunt these special kids.

Apart from a great storyline, the New Mutants trailer shows an incredible bunch of actors who can breathe life into this YA and dark version of the X-Men franchise. New Mutants has Anya-Taylor Joy as Magik, Maisie Williams as Wolfsbane, Henry Zaga as Sunspot, Charlie Heaton as Cannonball and Blu Hunt as Mirage. Along with this talented bunch, Alice Braga plays the role of Cecilia Reyes who serves as a mentor to these very special kids.

While Logan was the only X-Men movie that saw the light in 2017, Fox is all set to bring out three new releases in 2018. New Mutants, X-Men: Dark Phoenix and Deadpool 2 are keeping every X-Men fan excited for the arrival of 2018. Along with this, it was recently announced that Gambit, starring Channing Tatum, will be releasing in early 2019.

New Mutants is also having a Friday the 13th release. Directed by Josh Boone, who previously directed The Fault In Our Stars, the New Mutants will arrive on 13th April 2018.
