We have often seen Bollywood movies being inspired or being entirely copied off of some Hollywood or foreign movie, but very rarely do we get the chance of coming across something that has been taken from our movie industry. Which is why A Star Is Born looks so interesting and exciting, even though there’s no officiality about it.
Warner Bros. Pictures released the first A Star Is Born trailer and it looks super interesting and beautiful. With leads like Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga, the trailer of this movie will give you all the feels you long for.
The makers have described A Star Is Born as, “tragic love story, he (Bradley Cooper) plays seasoned musician Jackson Maine, who discovers—and falls in love with—struggling artist Ally (Gaga). She has just about given up on her dream to make it big as a singer… until Jack coaxes her into the spotlight. But even as Ally’s career takes off, the personal side of their relationship is breaking down, as Jack fights an ongoing battle with his own internal demons.”
Now the premise of the movie seems too similar to that of Aashiqui 2 but then, one just can’t be sure about everything written on paper, which is why here’s the trailer for you to see and judge for youself.
Cooper looks entirely different from his usual charming self, which is great considering the character he’s playing is in no sense in the best of places. As for Gaga, she looks simple and powerful at the same time, something my 2009-self finds hard to believe.
A Star Is Born trailer shows a lot of emotions, ups and downs, drama and everything in between which is exciting and interesting.
The movie is also special considering it’s a debut for both the leads in some way. Gaga is making her acting debut, in terms of movies, whereas Bradley Cooper is making his directorial debut with it. Apart from these two, the film also has Andrew Dice Clay, Dave Chappelle and Sam Elliott in pivotal roles.
A Star Is Born will be releasing on October 5, 2018.
