CCD Lady Staff Slapped A Customer For Recording The Breeding Of Cockroaches In Their Fridge

Cafe Coffee Day has a special place in all our hearts and past, first dates and group studies often took place over a cup of coffee. This might be the same reason behind CCD’s popular tagline – A Lot Can Happen Over A Coffee. However, not even in their wildest dreams would they have thought of something like this, to happen over their cup of coffee or basically at their store.

A customer head out to CCD in Hawa Mahal, Jaipur for a Green Apple Soda but saw something more than what that the employees working there, wanted to. After paying for his order, he noticed that there were many cockroaches and other bugs breeding inside the fridge from where the food was being served.

He immediately cancelled the order and asked for reimbursement as well as, made other customers aware about the same. However, the staff started recording him and asked him to leave right away. To this, the consumer also started recording and told his side of the story. What followed this, is completely insane and outright disgusting. The women behind the counter came and slapped the customer.

Nikhil Anand, the customer, shared the video on Twitter which immediately caught momentum on social media. He also posted a long and elongated version of the incident that happened.

Neither CCD nor the Twitter handle of Department of Consumer Affairs, have yet responded about the incident.

This incident definitely gives us a lesson of how we should be aware of the hygiene around us and don’t just simply ignore it. Complain about it.
