Zingaat From Dhadak Is Not Going Well With Sairat Fans, Hence #ZingaatRuined

So, Dharma Production and the other makers of Dhadak, a Hindi remake of National Award Winning Marathi movie Sairat, released the much-hyped track Zingaat for the viewers.

If you’re someone who has no clue about what is Sairat or Zingaat or Marathi Cinema, then first of all, why? Second, let’s enlighten you a bit about good cinema and good things in life.

Sairat was a 2016 Marathi film that revolved around two people who fell madly in love, however, belonged to two different casts and hence became a brunt of everything bad and casteist about this society. It’s a musical marvel with strong acting, direction, cinematography and an overall amazing movie that should be seen by everyone.

Now, each and every track in Sairat is beautifully curated and brings something new and larger-than-life to the table. An addition to this beautiful soundtrack was Zingaat, a party track where everyone let loose and danced in true fashion. The track became an instant hit in Maharashtra and slowly reached each and every party and function one attended. Zingaat almost has a cult status now, which is why, when the makers remade even this one and changed the lyrics of the song to fit their story’s narrative, Sairat fans were pissed.
