“You and Me” from “Befikre” released last night and it is the peppy friendship anthem that we all were waiting for. The music is as upbeat and lively, as the previous two singles from the movie with the same starting, of how they won’t fall in love, no matter what happens. However, they do turn into great friends who are having way too much fun. All of the Befikre songs, released till now, have been very lively and even the trailer was very happy-happy, which makes me wonder if the shit does go down in this movie, or not?
“You and Me” video has fun snippets of the couple, from attending Colour Run (Angrezo Ki Holi), and a wedding in animal onesies and even fun scenes from the hospital in which Vaani Kapoor has been admitted after an incident. Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor look cute together in the magical city of Love, where they are not supposed to be in love, and just enjoy.

The lyrics of the song are really good, with small meaningful words that seem like a perfect ode to your best friend. These have been penned down by Jaideep Sahni, that goes perfectly with the peppy music of Vishal and Shekhar. Nikhil D’Souza and Rachel Varghese have given the innocence and excitement to this song, that it demands.
“Befikre” is directed by Aditya Chopra and is all set to release on 9th December 2016.
