“Whats Up” From “Phillauri” Is The New Punjabi Wedding Anthem

The second song from “Phillauri”, “Whats Up” is here and it can simply be described as the new Punjabi wedding anthem. The video of “Whats Up” seems to be full-fledged out of a Punjabi wedding which has your quintessential Dadi-Nani and extended family members.

Apart from being a fun and lively video about the wedding, it also shows some great acting from the actors involved in the movie. We also get, yet another quirky and friendly side of Anushka the Ghost in this video as well as her constant indulgence in the scared-as-hell Groom Suraj Sharma. There are transitions between Suraj’s wedding and that of Anushka’s which seems to be a continuous theme of the video songs from Phillauri.

Apart from Anushka Sharma and Suraj Sharma, “Whats Up” also features little snippets of Diljit Dosanjh. No Punjabi Bollywood song would be complete without Mika Singh and this time he is accompanied by Jasleen Royal, who has also given music for the song.

“Phillauri” is directed by Anshai Lal and all set to release on 24th March 2017.
