On 1st April last year, news channels and social media were surfaced with a suicide story that was nothing short of a mystery which has not yet been unfolded. TV’s popular face, Pratyusha Banerjee decided to end her life and committed suicide. The main reason behind her suicide has still not come out, but on her 1st death anniversary, Pratyusha’s best-friend Kamya Punjabi has decided to pay her a tribute.
Just 1 and a half month before the suicide, Pratyusha shot a short film ‘Hum Kuchh Keh Naa Sakey’. The film also features Kamya and will be released online on 1st April.
The film was supposed to release last year only, however, was put off due to the suicide. But, as per Kamya, the film bears an uncanny resemblance to Pratyusha’s last days and revolves around the subject of depression and heartbreak. A promo of the short has been released.

Pratyusha’s boyfriend in the film has been named Rahul, on the request of Pratyusha only. Which is another coincidences, as her real-life boyfriend was Rahul Raj Singh.
Kamya Punjabi said that she regretted about not talking enough with Pratyusha before she took such a big decision. Kamya also disclosed that Pratyusha didn’t use any sort of Glycerine while shooting for the emotional scenes, “it all came very naturally to her” said Kamya.
