“Cheez Badi” From Machine Is Another Revival Disaster By Bollywood

When we talk about the 90s, we somehow question the sanity of stories yet irrevocably adore the music. But it seems that the 2010’s Bollywood is all set to bring back a vomited version of 90s music. Be it “Saara Zamana” or “Humma Humma”, we are constantly been served music with lack of self-respect yet an excessive amount of Badshah’s rap and Electronic Dance Music.

Abbas Mastan’s “Machine” somehow managed to completely ruin the classic “Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast” from Mohra.

This new “Cheez Badi” has various stages, while in the opening you’ll be like okay with that, then it moves on to be “okay-is” and as soon as the beats drop, Oh God! We just lost it. The song didn’t even need a Badshah’s rap, that horrendous change in music does the work for it. Listen to it yourself and you’ll agree with what I’m saying.

They, by some means, decided to give a sensual touch to the song, which is already frustrating for many. Even though “Cheez Badi” is sung by Udit Narayan, just like the original one, Kavita Krishnamurthy’s vocals are replaced by Neha Kakkar.

The video of “Cheez Badi” has been shot in a club and ended with a mandatory water dance by the actors- Kiara Advani and Mustafa. The lyrics of the song are given by Anand Bakshi.

And, just like us, many on Twitter also were not happy about the mass murder of “Tu cheez badi hai mast”. Here are some of the best reactions by the Twitterati.

Here, we decided to get you the original version – Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast – just to get out from that above disastrous situation.
