SRK and R Madhavan Celebrate the Latter’s Birthday Together, on the Sets of Zero

It’s quite funny, albeit, an ironical sight to be celebrating the birthday of a hero on a film set of a project titled Zero. Now, regardless of whether that rhymes or not, not that it was the intention, there indeed is a touch of unforeseen humour as the terms Zero and Hero rhyme.

So what if the mega Bollywood superstar, someone who women dote after and men admire endlessly is starring in a keenly-anticipated flick titled zero. In SRK’s world, there’s never really a dull day. And what makes things rather interesting is that the Delhi-born actor often spares time to celebrate the other actors who are part of his journey.

So when on R Madhavan’s birthday, Bollywood superstar and internationally-acclaimed actor Shah Rukh Khan (aka SRK) decided to celebrate the southern star’s birthday, all eyes were set to celebrate the hero of ‘Zero’. Well, who else but Shah Rukh himself?

Back on June 1, as R Madhavan turned a year older and added another charming year to his memorable journey, actor Shah Rukh Khan was all smiles and praise for the versatile and charming actor from the south. Together, cutting the cake and enjoying a beautiful day, also joining A-listers- SRK and R Madhavan were stars of Zero such as Anushka Sharma and film-director, Aanand L Rai.

R Madhavan and SRK together are indeed, an interesting sight to behold. This is, both, due to the fact that the two happen to be really popular actors and mega success in their own right. But also owing to the fact that commonly, Madhava has been celebrated and hailed as being the “SRK” of southern movies, it is believed.

And here’s the most impressive part about Shah Rukh choosing to spend his time with superstar R Madhavan, a part of memorable Bollywood hits such as 3 Idiots, Tanu Weds Manu series and, Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein. Pleased by Shah Rukh Khan’s sweet gesture, celebrated movie idol, R Madhavan took to social media to post pictures of him alongside SRK, the duo sharing some sweet moments on the latter’s birthday.

The lead star-cast of the next Aanand L Rai film happens to be King Khan, it’s not R Madhavan. According to the current news, it is believed that R Madhavan only has a cameo role in the film, quite like a few other actors. So in the light that the successful south hero didn’t carry any substantial role in the film, even then SRK got along with Madhavan and the two celebrated Madhavan’s big day, speaks of the superstar Khan’s heart. Shah Rukh Khan, has over the years, made quite a reputation for himself as being a friend to most other Bollywood actors who often do not get well along with one another. And, in most cases, do not look each other in the eye.

For instance, consider Preity Zinta and Rani Mukherjee. Having starred in plenty of movies with the two glamorous actresses, SRK continues to be on good terms with the two even as the two actresses are no longer the greatest of mates. Shah Rukh is also in good terms with both Salman and Aamir, even as the three do not exactly spend a lot of time together. Shah Rukh’s friendship with Sanjay Dutt and warm, cordial equation with Anil Kapoor is also well-known to everyone.

But that said, what’s most enterprising about Shah Rukh Khan is that he is hardly seen rubbing his stardom on the face of other actors and is as courteous in admiring many other actors’ work as he is in celebrating his Bollywood successes. A king of the heart, indeed, isn’t it?
