“Sisak”, a Faraz Mariam Arif Ansari’s short film, happens to be India’s first silent short film that revolves around the love story between two gay men. The trailer of the movie has been dropped on us and we are just stunned to see the projection of emotions on screen. Sisak displays the agony of two men who are in love yet detached because of the fear of society.
Sisak’s story showcases two men who met on a Mumbai local where slowly and steadily, they fall in love. Despite seeing each other they never talk or touch, in fact, the movie showcases that love is love, it’s a feeling that doesn’t need any physical or verbal communication as expression and those emotion’s projection through eyes will move your heart.

It’s a bold move to make such movie and it seems Faraz Mariam Arif Ansari was fierce enough to bring such rare love story to light. Jitin Gulati and Dhruv Singhal played the lead roles of two gay men and the sound of Sisak is designed by Pritam Das.
It’s India’s First Silent LGBTQ Love Story And We Hope The Gets The Voice And Acknowledgement It Deserves!
