Shah Rukh Khan Will Be Having Two Releases In 2022!

With films like Fan, Zero, and a few others like that, it did appear as if Shah Rukh Khan was either losing the plot or being too ambitious to fit in amid a generation that likened movies to experimental cinema. Hardly a surprise that those movies bombed! Where was the authentic star, one may have wondered, who stuck to the plot of being in films that even though, seemed ‘larger than life,’ still conveyed the true essence of Shah Rukh Khan- the mega-star, the great entertainer and the romantic charmer. Women, to this day, grow weak in their knees and it appears that violins suddenly start playing on their own Shah Rukh Khan makes his grandiose entry, charming one and all with quintessential grace and style.

But since none of it was happening, it could be said, Shah Rukh Khan vanished from the big screen and perhaps took a bit of time off. For it is often said that one only steps back only to bounce back stronger! And so it seems with the man famously known as SRK around the world.

So this brings us to the question that what does the immediate future hold for one of Bollywood’s most celebrated icons?

It appears that in 2022, Shah Rukh Khan will have not one but two film releases. And make no mistake for since it’s Shah Rukh Khan, these yet-to-be-released films will be big-budget movies.

To that end, it’s important to note for all SRK or the ‘King of Romance’ fans that one of the most important releases of 2022 for the actor will be Pathan.

So in what can be described as art imitating life, a real-life Pathan would be playing the role of one on the big-screen! And here’s what’s most interesting about the upcoming mega movie is that it happens to be an Espionage drama with Shah Rukh in the titular role..

That being said, here is what website Bollywood Hungama happened to report on Shah Rukh Khan’s soon-to-be released venture that has the power to pack cinemas everywhere, unless due to COVID they continue to remain shut:

While his film with Atlee or Rajkumar Hirani is expected in the latter half and might release in Diwali or Christmas opening. However, with the current Covid scenario, things are still dicey and no one can plan things in advance. But if the situation becomes stable enough and things go smoothly according to plans, then surely we could expect the megastar to delight his fans twice in 2022.

Recently, the actor has also begun the shoot for a sequence of Pathan in Yash Raj Studios Mumbai and will be heading to Europe next if the situation gets under control.
