Industries are working too hard on bringing in the sequels and it’s similar to both Bollywood and Hollywood. There were a ton of sequels that got released this year, and along with those sequels of movies were the recreated music that got featured in them.
2017 almost seemed like a blast from the past because there was absolutely no one putting in any effort in terms of making music. There are a ton of songs that had been revived from the past and surprisingly (or not so surprisingly) they did work on the audience.
Because, well, we have no self-control in terms of appreciating something new, if compared with some from the past. Isn’t that true?
While some rehashed tracks brought nostalgia, others were trashed for spoiling the original magic. But in the end, we kept dancing on them at every wedding, birthday party and even at random parties.
What do you hope for 2018, a recreated year like 2017 or something different?
