Race 3 is going to release in a few weeks and the team, as well as the fans, are doing their best to treat their audience with something new and exciting every week. From behind the scenes shoot to Daisy Shah’s dialogue turned into memes, everything is contributing to Race 3’s hype among the fans.
The makers have now released a brand new song from the movie for their fans, and this time, it’s a romantic number. Not just any other romantic number, but an Atif Aslam romantic number.
Atif Aslam is a pivotal part of Race franchise with his contribution to movie’s playlist with a really beautiful and romantic love song. The same has been done here, however, along with Atif Aslam there is one more person behind the execution of this Selfish song, the world needs to know about. The female vocals of the song have been given by Salman’s dear friend Lulia Vantur.
It’s a good romantic number and Atif’s voice does its beautiful job, however, the hook line seems to be a bit weird.
The Selfish song is shot in the splendid landscapes of Ladakh and as for the music video, Jacqueline Fernandez is shown romancing both Salman Khan (Sikandar) and his closest allies, Bobby Deol. All this makes one thing very clear about Race 3, at some point the story would take a love-triangle twist.
Another interesting thing about the Selfish song is that the lyrics of the song have been written by none other than Salman Khan. As for the music, it has been composed by Vishal Mishra.
Earlier in a statement, Salman had said, “While discussing the creative for the song, I penned down a few thoughts on paper in sync with the plot of the film, which is about the selfishness within the family. When the music director Vishal Mishra heard it, he got extremely excited and said he will come back with a tune for the same. I said, ‘But this is a part of a conversation and not lyrics.’ However, he insisted to use the thoughts as it is for the song. Everyone loved the thoughts and wanted it to be used for the song.”
Directed by Remo D’Souza, Race 3 is all set to release on Eid, i.e., June 15.
