Priyanka Chopra Talked About Body Shaming and Interviewed Dev Patel On ‘The View’

Priyanka Chopra can be seen on an every-freaking talk show in the U.S. and it must be acknowledged that she has been putting her best foot forward at presenting herself. Chopra has been able to shatter all the preconceived notions about Indians among the Americans and we couldn’t be happier for it to happen.

This time Priyanka went on The View where she co-hosted the show with other four women hosts and talked about a variety of stuff. She talked about the ridiculous body-shaming that a woman has to go through in her life. Chopra also opened up about her earlier experience in Bollywood where a producer called out the flaws in her body and face, of how she’s a little fat and has a disproportionate nose. To this statement, one of the hosts asked her if this was, in fact, her real nose or not, to which Priyanka admitted that this is her real nose.

Priyanka was soon joined with Dev Patel who has recently been Oscar nominated for his film ‘Lion’. Patel is an Indian origin British and had also done Slumdog Millionaire which was an Oscar success in the year 2009.

Chopra asked Dev about his attachment to India and how the country affected him and his work. Patel disclosed, how as a child he used to suppress his Indian Heritage but all of it changed after he worked in Slumdog Millionaire.

The entire show last for about half-an-hour and you can catch Priyanka Chopra in full action for 30 whole minutes, over here:
