“Pink”, the most popular colour among girls. This is what I get first in my mind as soon as I hear this word – “Pink”. But this trailer will change the definition of this word for forever. “Pink” is an upcoming thriller based on a fictional incident that happens in Delhi and its trailer will keep you hooked on this even after you are done watching it.
I am not pleading you to be on my side just because I am a girl but we all know that our society judges a woman’s character by her virginity. It may sound wrong to me and you but the harsh truth is that the society we live in is doing the same and god knows when will this change. Now imagine if a girl who is not a virgin gets raped and asks for justice. You can’t even imagine what horrible questions, character proofs and insulting remarks she has to face to get through it but that is the society we live in and it is undoubtedly a sad state. All of the above is perfectly depicted in Shoojit Sircar’s “Pink”.
A Delhi girl, Taapsee Pannu gets sexually assaulted by some men and in her defence, she hits them back but later on she, along with her two friends, Kirti Kulhari and Andrea Tariang get framed for assaulting the man. Now Amitabh Bachchan who is playing a lawyer in the film and also suffers from a bipolar disorder in the movie rescues the girls from the dubious morals that society plays around and the wrath of the legal system.

The movie features Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, Vijay Verma, Kirti Kulhari, Andrea Tariang, Piyush Mishra, Angad Bedi, Raashul Tandon and Tushar Pandey. “Pink” is directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury and is slated to 16th September 2016. This movie is going to be one of the best by Amitabh Bachchan!!
