Anyone even remotely familiar with India’s indie scene would immediately identify Parvaaz and their unique sound. The band which comprises of four Kashmiri guys is now one of the biggest indie bands in the country. Heck, they opened for Alt-J on their India tour in 2015. However, they have still been missing from the mainstream scenes in India.
But that streak is coming to an end now. Kay Kay Menon starrer Vodka Diaries has released their first song today and it’s one of Parvaaz’s most popular bets till now- Beparwah.
The song has a rustic and high-paced sound to it which makes it absolutely perfect for the movie, considering its thrilling plot and storyline. Beparwah is shot in the beautiful and snowy mountains of Manali, which makes the entire song even more true to its soul, considering the mountains and Parvaaz’s connections to them.
From the stringy siren in the starting to Khalid Ahamed’s vocals, everything about the song is perfect and one can simply hope for its success.
The music of Beparwah has been given by Parvaaz, while it has been sung by the lead singer of the band- Khalid Ahamed.
Vodka Diaries is a suspense thriller with Kay Kay Menon, Raima Sen and Mandira Bedi in the lead. The film is directed by Kushal Srivastava and is all set to release on January 19th, 2018.
