Which Is The Other Akshay Kumar Movie Besides Bachchan Pandey That’s Exciting?

If there’s yet another year where megastar of Bollywood, Akshay Kumar is all to set to witness multiple film releases then it’s 2022. In fact, it could be said that the whole list of big releases that Akshay Kumar is planning to unfurl on the big canvass of Bollywood make this a highly anticipated year.

Though usually speaking the mere mention of the tall actor trained in martial arts against any movie does raise the expectations from that cinematic venture. But where 2022 stands it does seem as though it won’t be wrong to call it the year of Akshay Kumar.

So, let’s understand just why is that.

Interestingly, not long after his yet-to-be-released “Bachchan Pandey” generate rave reviews and a slew of reactions from different directions of Bollywood’s film world, in came the news of a new Akshay-starrer by the name of Production 41.

With an interesting star cast that also features the now well-known Rakul Preet Singh, Sargun Mehta and the returning Chandrachur Singh, Akshay Kumar’s forthcoming Production 41 has just recently wrapped up its production.

As a matter of fact, besides Production 41, some other keenly awaited releases featured the famed actor also known as Khiladi Kumar include- Ram Setu, Atrangi Re, Raksha Bandhan, and Sooryavanshi.

Having said that, what more do we need to know about Production 41 and what details have come in the public domain that the fans are already raving about? The shooting began in the month of August 2021 and it can be said, given the enduring timelines of many a Bollywood production, the shoot for this film hasn’t lasted all that long.

For starters, Akshay Kumar’s new venture is directed by Ranjit M Tiwari, the famous name behind successful ventures such as Lucknow Central and Bell Bottom, which also featured the Hindi film industry’s Khiladi. The film is backed by Pooja Entertainment and large parts of it are shot in London (as per news updates).

Furthermore, while on the one hand Akshay Kumar shared the news regarding his film wrapping up production on social media, his pretty co-star Rakul Preet Singh also took to Instagram to share a picture (see featured image) and her excitement about having worked with a mighty cast of talents both in front and behind the camera.

The following is what Singh’s post read on Instagram:

“Can’t believe it’s a wrap on #Production41! Grateful to have shot and completed a memorable journey with the loveliest team! Thank you for all the love, smiles and fun!,” he wrote, alongside a photograph of cast and crew.

Having said that, the following information was shared on India Today related to a film report based on Production 41:

Akshay Kumar had to return to Mumbai in the middle of the shooting after his mother Aruna Bhatia’s health deteriorated. She breathed her last on September 8. The actor flew back to London to complete the shooting of the film after performing the final rites of his mother.

That told, not an awful lot is known regarding the film’s plot as of yet. Though it must be said that since it’s Khiladi Kumar donning the lead role in yet another big Bollywood production, the project must be an interesting one. One can’t wait to get a glimpse of the film’s trailer.
