The Raj Thackeray led Maharashtra Navnirman Sena’s (MNS) film wing has again come up with an obnoxious threat, and this time it’s the Pakistani Artists who have to face the heat.
MNS has given a 48-hour Ultimatum to Pakistani Artists working in India to leave the country or else they would “push them out”. MNS leader Amey Khopkar has also said that these Pakistani actors would be beaten up along with the directors and producers who are giving them work in the country. (Seriously!)
MNS states, that they’ll stall the release of “Aae Dil Hai Mushkil” as it stars Pakistani actor Fawad Khan. The others artists who have been threatened are Ali Zafar, Saba Qamar and Mahira Khan to name a few.
Sanjay Raut, Shiv Sena MP said “We are talking about banning them (Pakistanis) globally. Why we are continuing talks with them? Why we are indulging in diplomacy? As a nation, we should snap all ties with Pakistan immediately.”
This is not the first time when Amey Khopkar has given a threat of physical violence, Tanmay Bhat from AIB had received a similar threat from him on Lata Mangeshkar and Sachin Tendulkar’s Snapchat controversy.
