“Maya Thagni” is the latest release from the album of “Jai Gangaajal”. The folk song displays various shots of goons and criminals ruling under the protection of political parties. The action sequences featured in “Maya Thagni” are gripping and realistic. You will get to see the awful circumstances villagers go through in UP because of politically protected thugs.
Priyanka Chopra is ruling the video of “Maya Thagni” with her outstanding action sequences. She has done all the action sequences in the film by herself and she looks no less than a hero. Prakash Jha is also seen in the action in “Maya Thagni”. Apparently the whole song will make you feel as if you are watching a real life action.
The song sounds as a folk song with the typical lyrics in U.P. language, the lyrics are penned by Manoj Muntashir. Singer Pravesh Mallick crooned the song in his raw and appealing voice on the music of Salim and Sulaiman. Directed by Prakash Jha “Jai Gangaajal” is slated to release on 4th March 2016.
