Happy Lohri! Well, the festival was originally celebrated in Punjab as it is the harvest festival but in today’s time, the occasion is celebrated across the nation with much enthusiasm, fanfare, and excitement. People gather around a bonfire after sunset to sing songs and offer foods such as ‘gajak’, ‘chikki’, puffed rice, popcorn, sesame seeds, peanuts, sugarcane and more.
Well, the toughest challenge while celebrating Lohri in cities is the songs and the greater problem is that you don’t find an already existing playlist and have to go through all the links that ‘google baba’ offers you. However, we tried to make it easy for you this year as we have compiled a list of seven such songs that will not only make the perfect playlist but also make you get up and dance your enthusiasm off.
