Bollywood has been able to produce a fair amount of road-trip movies and somehow a majority have worked well with the audience. Contributing to that is Irrfan Khan’s latest project Karwaan. The project has caught a lot of attention ever since it went on floors, considering the cast of Karwaan comes from different mediums of movies and entertainment.
Now, after much anticipation, the makers have finally released Karwaan trailer and it looks super-interesting, in terms of characters, story and the basic premise of the movie.
Karwaan is a memorable journey taken by three lost souls and two dead bodies, as described by the makers. It has Internet’s favourite actress Mithila Palkar, popular Malayalam actor Dulquer Salmaan and Bollywood’s favourite Irrfan Khan in pivotal roles. Karwaan trailer opens up to Salmaan receiving the news about his father’s death over the phone and then all the drama unfolds. On his journey to get the body, he meets Irrfan Khan and Mithila Palkar. Together they try to get the right body to the right home, which is nothing less than an adventure for all three of them.
This one is shot in God’s own paradise – Kerala and has some of the most beautiful backdrops.
By the look of the trailer, this one seems to be a super-interesting movie to go for, with good characters and actors channeling them brilliantly. As for the direction, Akarsh Khurana is the captain of this ship.
Karwaan is slated to release on August 3rd, 2018.
