“Just Go To Hell Dil”, even the title says the song is about a broken heart. The makers of “Dear Zindagi” have released teasers in which Alia looks happy-go -lucky but “Just Go To Hell Dil” showcases her as a devastated person ever. In love, your life becomes a fairy tale but when you fall apart and realise that it was all a lie, your heart breaks into a thousand pieces and the intense pain makes it impossible to get through that horrible period of life.
“Just Go To Hell Dil” showcases how Alia has recently broken up with Kunal Kapoor and struggling to get him out of her mind (Which she finds impossible). She can’t stay calm even for a minute yet she is trying hard to move on with her life but when has that been easy? The person who was the nucleus of her life is gone and letting him go is making it harder to breathe even. Though we have seen many on-screen break-ups but Alia’s brilliant projection of suffering and agony in Just Go To Hell Dil has won our hearts.

The last few scenes of the song point towards the story where Alia Bhatt leaves the city and meets Shah Rukh Khan to overcome her misery.
The voice of Sunidhi Chauhan has enhanced the essence of the song and the music of Amit Trivedi made it a soulfully sad track. The lyrics or Kausar Munir pull all the right strings of your heart and if you recently broke up with someone, “Just Go To Hell Dil” will be your ‘Break Up Anthem’.
“Dear Zindagi” is directed by Gauri Shinde and is coming to cinemas on 25 November 2016.
