“Jhumri Talaiyya”: Katrina Kaif And Ranbir Kapoor Are The Cutest Partners In Crime In This Song!

“Jhumri Talaiyya” is the newest addition to the album of upcoming musical “Jagga Jasoos”. The song features Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif in the quirkiest way possible. Now, we all know that Ranbir is playing a detective (sort of Sherlock Holmes) and Katrina Kaif is playing a journalist (kind of his Watson) and “Jhumri Talaiyya” captures the essence of their bond perfectly.

“Jhumri Talaiyya” has left us intrigued about the movie more than ever as the various shots included in the song gave us the sneak-peek of how downright insane this movie could be. Apart from other, “life or death” situations, one sequence that won our heart was – When both Ranbir and Katrina, runoff hiding under wooden baskets that too almost naked because their clothes burned in the fire. “Jhumri Talaiyya” projects the bonding of these two in the sweetest way as they both can go to extremes to protect each other. And the bonus is that we do get to hear a dialogue in the song!

While the previously released songs were upbeat and energetic, “Jhumri Talaiyya” is more sweet and mellow. Pritam has captured the spirit of both the characters in his music and  Neelesh Misra has fairly penned down the lyrics. The voices of Arijit Singh and Mohan Kanan made it more applause-worthy.

Directed by Anurag Basu, “Jagga Jasoos” is all set to hit the theaters on 14 July 2017.
