On Friday morning, the list of the 64th National Film Awards winners was announced and some of the winners literally took us by surprise. Neerja, which in all senses is a well deserving movie won Best Hindi Feature Film award. Directed by Ram Madhvani and Sonam Kapoor starrer Neerja won the race leaving many other films like Airlift, Dangal and several others. Sonam Kapoor also got a special mention from the jury for her impeccable performance in the movie.
Akshay Kumar bagged the best actor for his acting in Rustom which was directed by Tinu Suresh Desai. Pink bagged the best movie on social issues award while Ajay Devgan’s directorial debut ‘Shivaay‘ won the Best VFX Award.
