Akshay Kumar is a superstar in Bollywood but do you know his real name is Rajiv Bhatia. His father’s name is Hari Om Bhatia who was a military officer and Akshay named his production house “ Hari om Production.
Akshay was interested in Martial Arts from childhood and he learned Muay Thai (Thai martial art form) in 12th grade. He earned black belt in taekwondo and also hosted a martial arts documentary “Seven Deadly Arts with Akshay Kumar” for National Geographic Channel.
Akshay ran a small martial arts coaching where he used to earn 3k a month. One of his students led him to a modeling assignment and Akshay decided to pursue a career in modeling. Reason being compared to his monthly salary he earned more money in two days. Thank god that happened!
Akshay worked as a background dancer with some small dance groups so he could afford to pay for shooting a portfolio and he also worked as an assistant to well-known photographer Jayesh Seth to make up for his portfolio fees.
