Half Girlfriend’s First Single “Baarish” Is Perfect For All The Rain Lovers Out There

“Baarish”, Half Girlfriend’s first single is going to be your jam for the summer, while you’re waiting for the rains. No matter how much you kind of hate the casting of the film, one has to admit that Baarish is a pretty good choice to start the musical journey of “Half Girlfriend”.

The video of “Baarish” has the initial journey of Madhav (Arjun Kapoor) and Riya (Shraddha Kapoor). By the end of the song, Madhav and Riya became friends over their love for basketball. There’s this one funny thing about the song that we just can’t happen to miss, well it seems that every movie that Shraddha does, the makers just can’t let go off of her love with rains. Be it “Aashiqui 2” or “Baaghi”, the makers of every Shraddha Kapoor film are keen on making her come out as a big rain lover.

While we don’t know if this is actually true in real life, but in “Baarish” she definitely is a pluviophile (a lover of rain). The locations in which “Baarish” is shot can come out as too familiar with all the Delhites, from St. Stephens to Privee.

The vocals of “Baarish” are amazing and are given by Ash King and Shashaa Tirupati (which is frankly very refreshing). The music by Tanishk Bagchi compliments the soulful lyrics of Arafat Mehmood.
