Arjun Rampal’s next venture, “Daddy”, the trailer is out. This is a much more extended take on the film’s first teaser which showed a much more frivolous Arjun Rampal to the audience. After donning the role of a ruthless politician, Rampal is back in the form with Daddy where he does something completely out of his comfort zone.
“Daddy” is based on a true story and is a biopic on jailed gangster-turned-politician Arjun Gawli. The film’s trailer shows that the makers have successfully been able to recreate the iconic Mumbai’s 70s which were the era of gangsters. Carrying the attire and grace of a Maharashtrian, and that too with a top-notch Maharashtrian accent, Rampal just proves that there’s more to offer than what you can expect.
Rampal has been working hard for this film and to give a much more real feel to his character, he even went ahead with a prosthetic nose and long tresses that give him the much needed intense look for the film.

“Daddy” is narrated from multiple perspectives which mean that we would be able to have a take on it from the different point of views. Plus, it spans over four decades. Along with Arjun Rampal in the lead, “Daddy” also has Farhan Akhtar, Mir Sarwar, and Aishwarya Rajesh.
Co-written and directed by Ashim Ahluwalia, Daddy is all set to release on 21st July.
