The new “Swachh Bharat” video featuring Kangana Ranaut as Goddess Lakshmi is definitely a catchy one. It shows the goddess of wealth and good fortune abandoning homes and work places where her devotees do not pay attention to keeping their surroundings clean.
This is a brilliant attempt by the creative team to highlight the monetary incentive associated with keeping your surroundings clean. Indians who are great believers in the formula of keeping the Goddess Lakshmi happy to amass great fortunes will definitely respond to this video promoting the “Swachh Bharat” Mission.
Bollywood has come together for this video which also features Isha Koppikar and Ravi Kishan and a voice over by Amitabh Bachchan.

After looking at it thought one may have a thought that is the ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ only targeted at Hindu citizens or will there be a similar video soon targeting citizens of the various other religions found in India. Will the “sickular” presstitutes brand this a saffronization of the cleanliness initiative by the government?
