January 6

Allied (Hollywood): The movie features Brad Pitt and Marion Cotillard in lead roles. The story is set in the times of World War 2 and is a romantic thriller in which a Canadian intelligence officer falls in love and marries a girl who is actually a German Spy.

Passengers (Hollywood): The science fiction movie features Chris Pratt, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Sheen, Laurence Fishburne and Andy García in key roles. The movie is about two space travelers who wake up 90 years from their decided hibernation.

January 13

Haraamkhor (Bollywood): The movie stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Shweta Tripathi in key roles. The story is set in a small village and revolves around an extra-marital affair of a teacher with his student.

Ok Jaanu (Bollywood): The movie is a Hindi remake of South’s OK Kanmani. The movie stars Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor in key roles and the story revolves around the new day relationship’s rules and problems.

Live By Night (Hollywood): The upcoming crime drama is written, directed and co-produced by Ben Affleck. He also stars in the movie as a rising bootlegger. Set in the 1920’s period, the dramatic movie has an old charm.

XXX: Return of Xander Cage (Hollywood): The movie stars Vin Diesel,  Donnie Yen, Deepika Padukone, Samuel L. Jackson, Tony Jaa, Nina Dobrev, Ruby Rose, Rory McCann, Kris Wu, and Ariadna Gutiérrez and showcases extreme action stunts that will leave you in splits.

The Founder (Hollywood): The movie is a biopic of Ray Kroc, who turned McDonald’s into one of the biggest food chains in the world. The movie stars Michael Keaton in lead role and is directed by John Lee Hancock.

Raees (Bollywood): Starring Shah Rukh Khan, Raees is one of the much-awaited movies of January 2017. Shah Rukh plays a rumrunner in this action crime thriller. The movie was said to be based on criminal Abdul Latif’s life but the makers have denied the rumors. The movie also features Mahira Khan and  Nawazuddin Siddiqui in key roles.

Kaabil (Bollywood): The movie features Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam in lead roles. Both of them are playing blind individuals who fall in love and get married but later Yami gets raped and killed after which Hrithik seeks revenge from wrongdoers.
