Bioscopewala Trailer: Your Childhood Favourite Kabuliwala Comes To Life

We all have at some point or the other read Rabindranath Tagore’s Kabuliwala. It has to be one of the very few childhood stories that unite the kids of this country and kids around it. It was the love and familiarness that made kids fall in love with the story and it has ever since then been with us.

Now, this highly-acclaimed short story is being turned into a feature film and the trailer of the same has been just released by the makers.

As per the makers, Bioscopewala extends the story from where Tagore’s Kabuliwala ends and the Bioscopewala trailer is not only intriguing and delightful but also offers a sense of familiarness to the viewers. The trailer introduces us to a now grown-up Mini Basu and how she loses her father in a plane crash. In an attempt to reconnect with her childhood, she stumbles across her dead father’s old friend, who was the operator of a Bioscope show (hence, the name change) that she loved in her childhood.

Through various beautiful and heart-warming shots, we get to see the past of Mini’s life where she spent a plentiful of her time with the Bioscopewala and enjoyed every second of it. Danny Denzongpa has been roped in to play the role of Bioscopewala and he mastered every second of it, even with very few dialogues in the trailer. The supporting cast also looks interesting, but we need to talk about the background music for the trailer. The music and the song work its charm and perfectly captures the sole of this story.
