Ever since Kaun Banega Crorepati and Amitabh Bachchan came back on our television sets with tricky questions and nostalgia in their hands, we have been hooked on it. Those who can’t even remember the last time they watched television are constantly turning for their daily dose of KBC at 9 o’clock on weekdays.
Along with Amitabh Bachchan, there’s something else too that has kept people hooked on the show, and that is, KBC’s almost daily contribution to the meme market. From its arrival, to now, there’s constantly something that Amitabh Bachchan says or does that has been turned into a meme by the kind people of the Internet.
The recent addition to the list is a particular statement by Amitabh Bachchan. “Bahut hi umda kheli aap.. Taliyan bajti rehni chahiye.” which translates to “You played really well.. The claps should continue.”
While it was obviously said by Bachchan to one of the contestants on the show, he wouldn’t have even thought of the ways it could be mend or be added into particular scenarios. That’s exactly something Twitter is a master of.
