Singers and celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Shankar Mahadevan, Arijit Singh, Papon and many others, have come together to sing the theme song of the “Namami Brahmaputra”.
“Namami Brahmaputra” is a mega event which is being organised by the Assam Government, in order to offer collective gratitude to the magnificent Brahmaputra. The song was launched by Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and is has an Assamese as well as, a Hindi version of it.
The Hindi version has been sung by a total of 12 artists that included many Bollywood singers and celebrities. “Namami Brahmaputra” is said to be India’s largest river festival which will be held along the river, from Sadiya to Dhubri in 21 districts. The festival would commence from 31st March to 4th April.
